Urban Pitta Restaurant, Crookes Sheffield
The Flooring Company Sheffield successfully delivered a specialist hospitality flooring installation for Urban Pitta in Crookes, Sheffield. Covering a total floor area of 155m², the project required a combination of commercial LVT flooring and safety vinyl flooring to meet the differing demands of customer-facing and operational areas within the restaurant.
The flooring specification was carefully selected to balance aesthetics, durability, hygiene, and safety throughout the venue. Customer areas were fitted with premium Karndean Van Gogh LVT flooring, while back-of-house and food preparation areas received Polysafe Vogue Ultra safety vinyl flooring, creating a complete flooring solution designed for the hospitality sector.
Restaurants require flooring that can handle constant foot traffic while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. For Urban Pitta, Karndean Van Gogh VGW126T LVT flooring was installed in front-of-house areas, delivering a realistic timber effect with strong commercial durability and easy maintenance, creating a warm and inviting customer space. In kitchen and food preparation areas, Polyflor Polysafe Vogue Ultra safety vinyl flooring was used to provide high slip resistance, hygiene performance, and durability for demanding operational conditions. To further improve safety and protection across the venue, Quantum stair nosings and a COBA Plan A entrance matting system were also installed. The completed installation delivers a complete hospitality flooring solution, combining premium commercial LVT flooring and safety vinyl flooring to achieve the right balance of aesthetics, safety, and long-term performance.
